Descrizione
You can't miss Castro District, with its name in white letters on a red background, which is displayed above the cinema at the corner of Castro Street and Market Street, and its huge rainbow flag. It is the hub of San Francisco's gay community, surely the most liberated in the United States. The GLBT Historical Society Museum tells the story of the movement, and features Harvey Milk, who became the first openly gay elected official in the USA in 1977.
