Descrizione

The island of Sal, which has an international airport, offers an array of sports and beaches. Surfing and other board sports enthusiasts can make the most of this exceptional spot, while beach-lovers can look forward to superb beaches. The hotel infrastructure is concentrated around Santa Maria, the main city. The rest of the island, flat and arid, offers bare landscapes, unusual sites such as the disused Pedra de Lume salt mine and untamed beaches, where leatherback turtles still come to lay their eggs.
