Located a short walk from the Old Town, Amandus brings a touch of history to proceedings, yet also adds a relaxed, bohemian vibe. Guests arrive at 7pm, whereupon Chef-Owner Deivydas greets them personally, and there are further chances to interact when the chefs bring their dishes to the table. The surprise tasting menu draws its inspiration from historical recipes and flavours, which are brought together, updated and presented in a modern way; the beetroot and rye bread served with paprika butter is a signature.
