This old Provençal bastide on the outskirts of Avignon upholds the traditions of Gallic bourgeois establishments devoted to good food. Noble produce and classical recipes are the name of the game, albeit with the occasional more modern creation, such as tataki of house smoked salmon on a pannacotta of green vegetables. Southern Côte du Rhône wines take pride of place in the cellar. Lovely terrace in fine weather and polished service.
