Il parere della Guida Michelin
Amid the traditional shopfronts, this elegant façade really stands out on Bonifacio harbourfront. It houses two establishments: on the ground floor, a cosy bistro; on the first floor, a superb designer space in the shape of an inverted hull, with a subtle maritime-inspired decor and a large window (finestra in Italian) overlooking the port. Chef Italo Bassi's dishes celebrate a gourmet marriage of Italy and Corsica. The ingredients, mainly Corsican (such as fish from small-scale fishing), are carefully selected for these masterful preparations, a case in point being the distinctively flavoured rockfish soup risotto.
