Set within a 100-hectare farm, Summerfields has riverside rooms with outdoor showers. The pool, open-air spa area and restaurant are by Sabie River, where hippos bathe at dusk. With wooden furniture and luxury linen, each room has a private deck and bath overlooking the forest. The villa has natural stone features and a covered terrace. The spa offers treatments including massages, aromatherapy and rose-based beauty therapies. A lounge with library and Wi-Fi faces the river, while another has satellite TV. Activities include guided tours among the roses and macadamia trees. The River Cafe provides breakfast, lunch and dinner and the menu is reviewed weekly. A candle-lit dinner is possible at the riverside restaurant. Barbeque facilities are available at the family houses. The Villa and Stonehouse are not part of the main camp and are situated 1km from the reception, but closer to the main gate. Guests will require their own vehicle should they like to travel between the houses and the main camp. Nearby are a tree-top walkway and mountain biking and hiking trails. Kruger National Park is 18 km away and Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport is 50 km.
